Review: Perimenopause: Have It, Live It, Love It!
If there’s one word to describe this book, it would be COMPREHENSIVE! From its discussion of the symptoms to the various medical tests and treatments down to the natural home remedies you can do to relieve your perimenopause symptoms, this book has got it all.
Pam Andrews did an excellent job with the book “Perimenopause: Have It, Live It, Love It!”. Although she isn’t a doctor by professions (or rather, because she isn’t a medical doctor), she was able to explain clearly, in plain English, what perimenopause is. Her work is very thorough and her background in magazine writing was very evident in the easy language she used to simplify yet fully capture the medical implications of this stage in our lives.
For women who are looking for a complete survival guide to perimenopause, this is a fantastic resource. It’s the kind of book that won’t just sit in your computer once you’ve download it. Instead, you’ll be printing several copies of it - one for your kitchen cabinet or fridge door, another to put on your bedside table, and another inside your desk drawer in the office.
I’ve recently bought a copy for my girl friend, Tina. Not a day passes that she doesn’t complain about something aching in her body or how she’s always getting dizzy at all times of the day. She’s very happy with the remedies section and has stocked up on the teas and herbs discussed in the book.
For ya’ll ladies out there who are experiencing hot flashes, irregular periods, irritability, dizziness, insomnia, abdominal and hip weight gain (or who have moms with these symptoms), get a copy! It will change your life.
